Coastal Georgia - Savannah Craft Brewfest

The 2010 Brewfest will be held Labor Day week-end September 3 and 4. This outdoor event will be held at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center overlooking the Historic downtown Savannah Riverfront.  This event will feature 120 different craft brews, food,  live entertainment and souvenirs.

The Savannah Craft Brewfest week-end begins Friday evening with the Craft Brew and food pairing dinner. The event will feature the taste of great low country cuisine and craft brews chosen to embrace the flavor. On Saturday the Grand Craft tasting will feature more than 120 different carft brews.

Tickets will go on sale beginning in May. Get your tickets early, and in one easy click book your room reservations at Green Palm Inn, Zeigler House Inn, or Azalea Inn & Gardens.

Historic Savannah’s Alligator Soul Restaurant Opens for Lunch

Last Monday, three innkeepers and a husband met at Alligator Soul to admire the new logo and sample the newly-opeAlligator Soulned-for-lunch menu.   Could Maureen Craig and Chris DiNello, the co-owners, meet our expectations and their own?

Chef Chris shared with Savannah Foodie’s Tim Rutherford:  ”Our focus is on express gourmet Southern-style lunch for under $10. The menu will be short, light and diverse. Diners should expect changes on a regular basis because I’m using ingredients that are fresh, local and predominately organic.”
