Trade and Convention Center Anniversary

May 12th, 2010 by savannahinns

Last night Jackie, Teresa and I went to the 10th Anniversary of the Savannah Trade and Conventions Center. What fun!  You were encouraged to explore the vast building through a scavenger hunt. Stations were set up all over the center. At each station you were to find the answer to a specific question list on your card. You also were given appetizers and beverages at each one. Jake and I finally moved into the apartment in the house next door in early March.  The entire back yard was a neglected child with tangled hair and dirty features -  that is, overgrown bushes, patchy grass and dirt, and too-many-to-count small oak tree sprouts.   Jake’s eye had that gleam again,

Priceless Memories for a Three-Gal Getaway in Savannah … Close to Home

June 9th, 2008 by savannahinns

SAVANNAH Georgia (June 9, 2008) –- In a delightfully teasing way three creative Savannah bed and breakfast owners tested the fun appeal of Savannah in the off season with mini-getaways close to home, their bed and breakfast inns.

Not waiting on a big Savannah event, a trio of innkeepers — Teresa Jacobson (Azalea Inn and Gardens), Diane McCray (Green Palm Inn) and Jackie Heinz (Zeigler House Inn) –- set out to remind themselves of the fresh, boundless opportunities for culture and fun in Savannah.

June 7th, 2008 by savannahinns

SAVANNAH Georgia (June 7, 2008) –- In a delightfully teasing way three creative Savannah bed and breakfast owners have busily stirred up curiosity around historic Savannah’s downtown, causing excitement about the excitement.

In the sunny-crazy escapades, captured by photographer Jerry Harris, the trio comes across as outdoor concierges showcasing Savannah’s great landscapes. With a sense of pure adventure, Teresa Jacobson (Azalea Inn and Gardens), Diane McCray (Green Palm Inn) and Jackie Heinz (Zeigler House Inn) danced in conga line with Marilyn Monroe in City Market, and then set out to mimic Forrest Gump in Chippewa Square and beyond.

“These individualists are not the heat seekers but they’re getting to the top of Savannah leisure, dazzling those they meet with their sweet talkin’, ,” shares marketing executive Sandy Traub. “Their guests adore them and others in the hospitality community admire their spunk!”
